HELPING RANCHO GRACIANO SANCHEZ
Situation:
Graciano has insufficient access to water and no electricity.
HELPING HORIZONTE DE PAZ
Situation:
A clinic overpopulated with residents had no space to house new members seeking assistance in drug rehabilitation. This resulted in patients sleeping on concrete while in recovery.
HELPING JACQUELINE
Situation:
Five year old Jacqueline was diagnosed with a spinal curvature at a forty-degree angle and eventually increased to a sixty five degree angle. Her family quickly ran out of resources to get Jacqueline surgery she needed to correct her spine.
HELPING COSTA SUR
Situation:
Due to COVID, the hotel was closing down and the employees were being furloughed. Since Mexico lacks a national employment insurance system, the employees would not be receiving any funding during a pandemic.
HELPING LUPE
Situation:
Lupe suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for 12 years when FAMA connected with her. Living in chronic pain, she was unable to walk or support herself.
HELPING LETY
Situation:
FAMA was called to serve when Leticia was diagnosed with a second breast cancer, after surviving a mastectomy that drained her resources.
HELPING PUEBLO SAN RAFAEL
Situation:
San Rafael de los Moreno is a pueblo in a rural area outside of Puerto Vallarta. The community does not have access to a hospital and is living in extreme poverty. Due to a lack of resources, many residents were dying of scorpion and spider attacks as the nearest clinic is 45 minutes away.FAMA Foundation found this community to be eager for change with no resources to become self-sufficient.
HELPING IMPULSOS DE AGUILA
Situation:
A non-profit organization in Puerto Vallarta that provides for paralyzed senior citizens was in need of disposable underwear for their community.
